World Health Day

On the occasion of the World Health Day, our team would like to raise awareness about the ongoing health issues that concern people across the world! During these difficult times, we all understand the value of health and well-being.
This is why in this year’s FIRST Global Challenge, our team decided to choose the Health Category and create Panacea. Panacea is an autonomous robotic nurse able to

• measure temperature
• measure oxygen and SpO2 levels
• move autonomously either in hospitals or in houses and lastly,
• communicate with relatives and the treating doctor.

“Panacea” won second place in the Health Category, in the Solutions challenge. After sharing our vision with Ministers and experts such as Thanos Plevris and Vassilis Kikilias at the Thessaloniki International Fair, we continued our research. Team Greece is currently working on improving Panacea’s design and functionality!
