On the 25th of July we had an interesting meeting with Team Turkmenistan, we taught each other words from our languages, we talked about our music and about the competition. They also told us about a music video idea they had and they asked if we wanted to partake in the project, we of-course accepted. It was a very fun meeting that gave us insight into another civilization from another continent.
On the 23rd of July, the meeting that was suggested to be done with Team Tunisia, was held! It was extremely interesting since we did Culture Exchange, talked about traditions and local food, and played games! These include the game where we say a word in English, then it is translated in one country’s language, and then in the other’s. Also, there was a series of jokes, laughter and fun!
On the 22nd of July, the second meeting was held, with Team Gambia! We talked about the competition, our experience in robotics and had fun learning about Gambia’s culture!
On the 22nd of July, our team had the chance to do our first meeting with Team Venezuela! In this meeting we discussed this year’s challenge, the traditions of each country, and suggested activities that we could do, to bond as teams, and as individuals. Because we believe that even though we live in different countries, we are glad that through the competition we get the chance to meet different people.
