Before leaving the town of Thessaloniki, team Greece visited the cement production factory, named TITAN. TITAN is popular worldwide for its high-quality and resistant products. We had the chance to learn how cement is made by touring the TITAN premises. Thank you TITAN for this amazing opportunity!

Team Greece is officially back to their base! After 7 days of lots of teamwork, fun and different activities, team Greece’s members left the YMCA Camp. Both the Covid-19 pandemic and the fact that the members came from all around Greece, prevented them from doing in-person meetings.
The team bonded not only through the FIRST Global Activities, but also through various athletic activities, presenting previous and new projects, such as “Poseidon”, the robot which represented Greece in the FGC Dubai 2019 and even participating in the “YMCA’s Got Talent"! Thank you YMCA and EduACT! Through the week spent at the YMCA camp, our team managed to do many things related to the FIRST Global Challenge! We started building and programming the project prototype, while also doing social media and robotics challenges! Brainstorming, swimming, building, presenting and programming all at once! We had the honour to present our project for the Solutions Challenge of this year's First Global Challenge to Mr. Kikilias, Greece's Health Minister. Thank you for supporting our team, discussing with us about the impact of COVID-19 on health and answering our questions! Press releases |
