FGC “Discover and Recover" almost completed!

Team Greece has officially completed three aspects of this year's FIRST Global Challenge "Discover and Recover"!
-Solutions Challenge: Brainstorming and researching about the impact of COVID-19, designing and programming "Panacea" , collaborating with Team Canada... The Solutions Challenge was undoubtedly really interesting and fun!

-Robotics Challenge: Although we have experience using the REV robotics kit to build robots, this year we improved our previous ideas and we experimented with new designs! Building the four mechanisms required; drivetrain delivery, intake intrigue, launcher longshot, climber chaos helped us expand our knowledge in robotics and programming!

-CubeSat Challenge: Creating a CubeSat prototype from scratch was not something any of us had done before. After researching and working hard, we managed to build a working CubeSat that could be launched in the lowest layers of Earth's atmosphere and examine how suitable is the area for reforestation!

Overall, the FIRST Global Challenge “Discover and Recover” was a great experience! Social media challenges gave us the opportunity to meet other teams, connect with people from all over the world! The STEM talks were informative and interesting! We learned how to overcome difficulties as a team! We communicated with teams on the FIRST Global Forum and social media! We used STEM to build a better tomorrow! We really enjoyed this year’s FGC! One more social media challenge to go! We can’t wait to see everyone next year!
